Protection: - Copper will be tarnished after a while (this is normal) so try to limit contact with lotions, soaps or anything moist and never wear it in the shower, swimming or anywhere else it may encounter water. If tarnish becomes an issue, you may clean this item with jewelry cleaning cloth or ultra-polishing pads.
